When I arrived at Wellington Point on the morning of this photo shoot, I had a sense of excitement as I looked at the weather report. Whenever I see clouds on the horizon, I eagerly await the sunrise because the results are always beautiful with clouds.
And I wasn’t disappointed. I put on my waders, as it was low tide and waded some distance to capture the sunrise. The area is being dredged. I like the presence of the barge that accompanies the dredger.
The sunrise was spectacular. From one moment to the next, the clouds grew richer in colour. The reflections were incredible too. Wellington Point is notorious for fishermen. The jetty is a lovely feature. It is iconic with joggers and dog walkers too.
As I wrapped up my photo shoot and waded towards the shoreline I was content as I knew the conditions had been perfect. I packed up my photographic equipment with a smile on my face and a happy heart.
