I am always fascinated visiting different cities overseas.
Culture intrigues me. It embraces food, language, behaviour, and accents.
During long walks in New York, sometimes in freezing cold conditions, my time was always brightened witnessing people being involved in acts of kindness.
I watched a lady feeding squirrels in a park, she had been offering them nuts for a few years. The squirrels knew her and waited for her with anticipation.
The lady was probably lonely and perhaps was her highlight for the day, connecting with the squirrels.
Of course, the season was changing as witnessed with the trees in the image.
Time waits for no one and with each passing year and season, it is good to live life to the fullest not just for self, but showing kindness to others.
Food for thought!
