I knew I was going to be blessed with a sunrise to remember for some time to come when I looked at the clouds before dawn.
Wellington Point has been my photographic playground for several years. It’s interesting at high tide and low tide. The advantage with low tide is that I can wade quite far out.
When the red line ‘bled’ across the horizon at first light, it was a sign of things to come. The clouds were impacting.
The light remained consistently strong. I altered the position of my tripod often to maximise the light before me. The tide was coming in which added depth to the reflections.
As always, I walked away content knowing that I had captured some special shots.
