In the Flow

Join me in experiencing my adventures and excitement on my photo shoots, as I unwrap my journey involved in capturing images that linger, whilst reflecting spectacular scenery that soak the soul with peace and hope!

It was the first time I’d visited Noosa Heads National Park. I arrived as the sun was starting to bathe the ocean with its light.

When I parked my vehicle, I knew I did not have any time to waste. I gathered my photographic equipment and walked briskly to a spot where it would be perfect to do my photo shoot.

As it was my first visit, I was unfamiliar with the area. I was not disappointed when I made my way towards the ocean. The setting is beautiful. A path winds around the impressive cliffs offering a spectacular view of the ocean and the surrounding coastline.

Because the morning was perfect, without a breath of wind, there were a lot of walkers, joggers and surfers heading off to the ocean. I had done a brief read of the area, so I was familiar, but more so from looking at a map on the Internet, rather than from experience.

The first place to pull aside from the path was perfect to raise my tripod and start shooting from. I was fortunate enough that it was quiet. Of course, with the light maturing so quickly, and being familiar with my equipment, it did not take me long to start clicking. The warmth of the sun across the ocean was a welcome sight.

I would return to this incredible location in a heartbeat. It is quite a destination to drive to, particularly the closer you are to it, but it is most certainly worth it! My photo shoot was good, it left me walking to my vehicle with a spring in my step.
