Recently I visited Townsville, Northern Queensland, Australia.
I drove from Ayr to Townsville, which is about an hour’s drive.
It was a good trip in the dark, pre-dawn.
This image was taken from Castle Hill which is iconic with joggers, walkers and cyclists. And dogs too!
The morning was beautiful as you can see, with a cool Southerly breeze.
As I wound my way up Castle Hill, I was impressed with the number of early risers in this city.
Arriving at my destination in good time before sunrise, enabled me to secure a good vantage point.
