Bologna, a beautiful city, rich in history and inspirational architecture.
I decided to wander along the streets less travelled and to capture the city of Bologna.
But not as a tourist!
Cafes and interesting shops are nestled in close confinement.
It was cold so there weren’t too many people enjoying a coffee or a meal outdoors.
The warmth of the colour of the buildings appeal to me.
During the winter months, people brighten up their apartments with hot pink cyclamens, which appears to be the favourite colour.
The streets are pebbled and some, with ancient stone work.
I found it almost impossible not to stop and reflect on the passage of time as I wandered through the streets.
