As I arrived at The Spit on the morning of my photoshoot, I knew it was going to be a spectacular sunrise.
I have learnt to read the clouds during the early hours of the morning, giving me an indication of what to expect in a sunrise.
My tripod was secured on the shore as the light was breaking across the horizon. It was a sunrise where the light lasted for some time. The clouds were influenced by the direction of the wind.
They persistently drifted across the sky, releasing inspirational, dramatic colours and reflections, and a scene that remains with me to this day. It was a memorable, monumental shoot, from start to finish.
Thank you for apprecaitingmy work!
