During May 2017, I was invited to attend an art exhibition in Florence, Italy. As a Fine Art Photographer, it was humbling associating with artists from around the world and being awarded a Certificate and a Statue for my work.
My last night in Firenze, Florence, was spent doing what I’m passionate about: photography and mingling with people.
It was a beautiful, balmy summers evening. The streets were packed with people whilst the pulse of this wonderful city, Firenze, was beating with joy and expectancy.
Instinctively, I knew it was going to be a special photoshoot. I had my camera bag packed with all my photographic gear and headed towards the Santa Ponte Tranita. I positioned myself, in a good spot and focused my camera on Ponte Vecchio.
In the setting of the sun, it was golden only for a few moments. But a gorgeous sight to behold. Scooters puttered past me on the centuries old cobbled streets, whilst passersby were enjoying their gelato. There is something so memorable about Italy: hospitality, fun, families, laughter, architecture, history, music, too much to mention. experience it for yourself if you haven’t already done so.
I will return. Thank you for a memorable time.
Thank you for appreciating my work!
