Miami Beach, on the Gold Coast, is such a beautiful, versatile beach. It has a distinctive advantage at low tide.
In that it offers photographers a multi-faceted perspective regarding a view of Burleigh Heads in the distance, including incredible light that reveals indescribable beauty of the ocean and the shoreline.
On the morning of this photo shoot, the light was superb. I chose a vantage point that featured the rocks, which add interest, particularly during low tide.
The mood of this image is of peace and calmness, as the water lapped towards me in a relaxed way. I secured my tripod in the sand at first light. At the same time, I moved fairly frequently to maximise the light and the interest that it releases.
That morning, when I packed away my equipment at the end of my photo shoot, I was happy and content. It was a memorable time spent witnessing an incredible light show from God.
