Snapper Rocks has always been one of my favourite destinations and photoshoot locations.
On each occasion I have always come away with a sense of excitement and fulfilment when I have completed each shoot at this wonderful beach.
The generous rock shelf offers surfers and photographers, alike, a fantastic platform. For photographers, depending on the tide, and the size of the waves, it is thrilling when the surf is pumping and impressive in size. I know the surfers share my feelings.
Snapper Rocks has been instrumental in sharpening my photographic skills due to the environment and expectancy of unpredictable waves that simply ‘loom’ over the rocks before anyone who stands on that rock shelf.
And yet, there have been moments and shoots, were the waves have been small and somewhat predictable, but no less exciting.
