This location holds special memories for me. I have visited it on several occasions. Some of which have produced unique images. It is one of my favourite photo shoot locations.
The sunrises at this destination have been out of this world. Particularly during cloudy mornings. The lighthouse is an instant attraction. Particularly when the sky is overcast and dramatic.
As a mature female landscape photographer, it takes discipline, dedication and courage to do photo shoots from some locations. This is one of them.
Arriving in the dark, just before first light is always done in fear. But the results have always been worth it. Fear, as a result of being on my own in the dark, walking to my destination.
On the morning of this shoot, the sky was dramatic. The light was extraordinary. As I stepped onto the large rock shelf, instinctively I knew it was going to be a good shoot.
I adjusted my tripod legs and began to shoot. I ended the photoshoot sitting on the rocks as the tide was going out. The light throughout this shoot was exceptional. So were were ocean conditions.
