Location | Snapper Rocks, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
This is a versatile beach and is iconic with surfers, photographers, joggers and walkers.
The conditions on the morning of this photoshoot were perfect. It took some time for the sun to break through the clouds, but it was worth the wait. The tide was coming in whilst making its presence felt, as the ocean filled the cavity between the rocks.
As always, I wear waders which gives me an advantage of being waterproof as some powerful waves have crashed against the rocks, resulting in an impressive spray, whilst the boots are ideal for walking on the generous rock shelf.
Securing my tripod on the rocks, in various positions, always introduces an excitement to me as I commence my shoot and press my shutter release button.
