Jumping for Joy

Join me in experiencing my adventures and excitement on my photo shoots, as I unwrap my journey involved in capturing images that linger, whilst reflecting spectacular scenery that soak the soul with peace and hope!

The morning of this photo shoot, this beach was not my first choice of location. It had been some time since I had visited this incredible beach. It is one of my favourite beaches to shoot from. It’s challenging and takes my photography to another level.

This beach is renowned for big waves, which are thrilling to capture. I particularly like shooting from here during high tide. The water crashes over the rocks before me. It is thrilling and inviting to come up with new ways to shoot at the same location.

Instinctively I knew to drive to Snapper Rocks. When I arrived at my location, I sat on the iconic concrete sea wall and observed the conditions. The light was perfect, whilst the tide was just on the turn, of coming in.

I was overjoyed, hence the title of this image. As the photo shoot progressed, the sunrise improved. When I was sitting on the wall, I looked away from the sun and I noticed the sky opposite me was dramatic.

When I saw the colours in the clouds, I could not resist moving to the other end of the wall whilst watching the waves starting to wash over the rocks.

It certainly was a shoot to remember. When I packed up my photographic equipment, I was expectant of some unique shots. I walked away happy as my time spent there was inspirational.
