So much about life is spontaneous and about experiencing serendipitous moments, isn’t it?
The morning I captured this image, my instincts encouraged me to take my camera.
I was travelling to Queenstown, New Zealand.
As I approached Cardrona, the snow started falling fairly heavily.
Cardrona ski field is world renowned, it is conveniently located to Wanaka.
When I reached Roaring Meg, travelling along the Crown Range, the snow was heavier and the result was beautiful.
Snow represents peace and tranquility to me! Do you enjoy snow and cold conditions?
It did not take me long to park my car in a safe place and to commence my photoshoot.
I wore my waders due to the depth of the snow.
Standing on a precipice, with obvious height advantage, I stood in awe and wonder of the landscape before me.
As a landscape photographer, I love the different weather elements.
I was suitable dressed, with layers of clothing keeping me warm.
The road was fairly icy, so required careful driving.
When I drove home that afternoon, the snow had already melted!
Thank you for appreciating my work!
