When I arrived at Wellington Point for my photo shoot, I knew it was going to be an incredible sunrise. The clouds were densely packed together before daybreak. I was waiting with expectation for the light to break through the clouds. And it did.
The tide was high. It was perfectly still. I sat on the rocks which offered me a spectacular view of an inspirational display of light. The reflections were remarkable too. The warmth of the sun pierced the clouds with absolute Godly splendour.
Wellington Point is an infamous location with fishermen. The Pelicans arrive in good time, hoping for a feed when the boats return.
It is also a popular place for photographers as its versatile. The jetty is a good feature in photographs. Whilst walkers enjoy strolling along the beach, headed towards King Island during low tide.
After appreciating the magnificent sunrise, I packed away my equipment and drove home with a happy heart.
