This destination is close to home. It is a versatile sunrise location. Even when the tide is low, I can squeeze every ounce of light from the sky. It often has clouds on the horizon, which make for a more exciting image.
It is popular with dog owners and walkers. There is a sizeable dog park close by. On the morning of this photo shoot, the light was incredible and the weather conditions, perfect.
When the tide is low, I walk to the water’s edge. Which can be quite tricky as it is a muddy area. I have become stuck in other locations, in the mud. So, I always walk with caution as I do not want to have a repeat performance of attempting to ‘unglue’ myself from the mud.
The light was inspirational from start to finish. I packed away my photographic gear in an upbeat mood as I knew I’d captured something special.
