I arrived at my photo shoot with a spring in my step! I love the snow!
This is a special location, which is off the beaten track, near Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand.
When I heard it was snowing over the Crown Mountain Range, near Queenstown, I packed my photographic equipment into my vehicle and made my way to the snow.
This location is quite unlike anything I had seen before. So close to a town, yet so isolated.
There are houses in the area, but they are fairly well scattered.
As the snow wasn’t too thick, I arrived just in time, with my camera on my tripod, I clicked away very quickly before it started melting too quickly!
