It was a freezing cold morning, with a wind chill of -3 degrees Centigrade when I captured this image.
I caught the Subway from Manhattan to Clark Street, Brooklyn Heights. The streets were empty of pedestrians and motorists.
The week before I’d recognised what a great vantage point I would have standing where I did.
Although it was freezing cold, it was worth witnessing the night surrender to the day.
The Statue of Liberty was on my left, Manhattan right before me and the Brooklyn Bridge to my right.
All I needed to do was to rotate my tripod and to capture memorable moments!
There is hope in every new day!
Thank you for enjoying my work!
