Join me in experiencing my adventures and excitement on my photo shoots, as I unwrap my journey involved in capturing images that linger, whilst reflecting spectacular scenery that soak the soul with peace and hope!
It was a freezing cold morning when I arrived at Jack’s Point. It is an affluent suburb on the outskirts of Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand. I am familiar with this wonderful location.
When I got out of my vehicle, I put on my waders. I knew I would need to wear them. I made my way around the golf course in the dark. Fortunately my head lamp is very effective. I did not walk on the golf course, instead, I chose to walk through the bush.
As it was becoming lighter, I was able to view the countryside more effectively. I realised when I had the right spot as everything clicked together. I remained in that area for quite some time. As the position was perfect, all I needed to do was to rotate my camera. And to adjust my focal length on my lens.
The light at sunrise was beautiful. And the surrounds were so peaceful. It was a moment to remember for some time. When I packed away my equipment at the end of my photo shoot, I had a spring in my step. It was a great photo shoot.
