When we are content, we are peaceful.
We are not competing with others, but completing each other.
Contentment is a posture. It is an inner knowing that every little thing is going to be alright as God is in control.
Things are inclined to spin out of control when we think we are in control.
Contentment draws like-minded people together. Weaving a beautiful cloth with threads of love, joy and peace.
It thrives where there is unity. It’s a state of mind, of cultivating a pure heart and intentionally thinking good thoughts.
I believe contentment is a relative of peace. The Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
When we live in contentment, we know Jesus is living in us, as Born Again Believers. It is a knowing that Jesus is the supplier of all our needs.
He will never leave us nor forsake us.
When we let go of the grip that we have possibly clung to in the form of fear, anxiety, and other negative, deadly emotions, and invite Jesus into every thought and decision, we truly live in peace and contentment.
Contentment also enables us to view life from God’s perspective and not our own.
Be encouraged! Be at peace!
