It is always a delight to do a photo shoot at Wellington Point, which is located close to Brisbane city. It is iconic with fishermen, joggers, cyclists, photographers and walkers.
Shooting from either side of the jetty is great. That of course depends on the position of the sun. On the morning of this photo shoot, the light took some time to evolve into something special. But it was worth the wait.
I always deliberate with regards to remaining until I have extracted every facet of light that lingers. I have seen too many photographers walk away when the light was immature.
As you can see, the conditions were perfect. The incoming tide offered a more spectacular display of colours and reflections across the water.
The walk between Wellington Point and King Island at low tide is worth the experience!
Waiting was worth it. I walked away happy as I had captured what was intended.
