This is such a beautiful location which is located close to where I live. I enjoy visiting this part of the river when I have a spare moment. It is such a quiet, relaxing area.
Across the road from this weir, is a lovely picnic area. It is a popular destination with fishermen, and families relax whilst appreciating the beautiful surrounds. It is food for the soul.
As you can see, the morning I captured this image, the river was in flood.
