The tide was high when I arrived at Wellington Point. I lowered my tripod and camera at the water’s edge. The sky was a myriad of intense colours, creating perfect reflections in the water.
Fishermen were navigating out onto the ocean, whilst the birds were expectant of a great catch of fish. As the sun broke on the horizon, the sky was intense gold, and the water, a deep blue. The use of filters accurately replicated rich colours ‘splashed’ in front of my lens.
