Although this beach, Wategos Beach, Northern New South Wales, Australia, is a distance to travel to, the journey is worth it.
The morning of this photo shoot, the conditions were perfect. As Queensland does not participate in daylight saving, Wategos beach is saved for the autumn, winter and spring months when the distance travelled for sunrises is much more do-able. And worth it!
