As I was travelling towards the beaches on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, instinctively, I knew to do a photoshoot at Currumbin beach.
The conditions were perfect that morning. The tide was coming in, but the breeze was gentle, so the waves were small and smooth.
We had recently experienced fires on the Gold Coast Hinterland, with that, the smoke haze was quite significant on the horizon. When the sun was breaking through the smoke haze, the results were incredible.
