Everlasting!

As the rain clouds grew closer, whilst standing on the farm at Mona, on the peripheral of Ayr, Northern Queensland, Australia, my camera button was very busy capturing the moodiness of the moment. This was one of my final images I’d captured on my photoshoot. It had started raining.

I ran to my car, but I immediately recognised a break in the rain and ran back to my spot and captured this image, before the onset of rain ensured I return to my vehicle and drive home.

There was no time to waste. The air grew heavy with moisture, I knew the rain was imminent. The contrast of the sunset added to the dynamics of the drama before me. I was so excited and expectant of some interesting images as the clouds gained momentum and released the rain.

The farmers would have celebrated as well. I captured this image on a corn farm which is extensive in size. It did not take long for the rain to reach me.

Thank you for appreciating my work!
